Influenza A is circulating locally
We are seeing plenty of Influenza A in our community at the moment.
Common symptoms include fever, chills, headache, body aches, fatigue, cough, sore throat and runny or blocked nose.
Most people can recover at home with rest, fluids and paracetamol or ibuprofen if appropriate.
💊 Antiviral medication may be recommended for some people, particularly those at higher risk of complications, and works best when started early. Please seek medical attention if you have difficulty breathing, chest pain, dehydration or worsening symptoms.
If you have flu-like symptoms, please let reception know when booking to help us reduce the spread within the clinic.
